FINCHES
In addition to our draft horses, at Calico Farms we also raise and show several breeds of finches, including English Zebra, Hex, Owl and Lady Gouldian Finches. We feel our tiny birds make the perfect compliment to our massive horses!

Our English Fawn Zebra Male "Bubba" placed 2nd in his category for Current Year birds at the Northern Alberta Caged Bird Society Show in 2006. We were also honoured to win Champion Amateur Exhibitor and the Judges Special Award at the same show.
